چکیده
Named Data Networking is a new networking architecture proposed as potential design for the next generation of networks. However, supporting mobility producers in NDN-based IoT systems remains an open challenge researchers to address. To tackle this problem, NDN research group introduced solution called KITE [1]. Since initial design, some issues be resolved remain, including rendezvous placement selection. The location servers can significantly reduce path stretch efficiently. This paper focuses on improving by addressing two specific issues. First, we aim determine optimal number use network. Second, seek identify best locations minimize We propose evaluation metric average hop count based network centrality measures select and rendezvous. evaluate Average under different using random scale-free topology. Our results show that betweenness measure performs better than other measures, we, therefore, suggest it selecting their locations.

متن کاملSupport for Object Placement in Wide Area Heterogeneous Distributed Systems
One of the open challenges in distributed computing systems is determining how to place tasks onto processors when they are needed (in the Legion project being developed at UVA the basic computational units are modelled as objects, so the problem is one of object placement). The placement decision is crucial because it determines the run-time behavior of an object, including performance, cost a...

The continued growth of Internet-of-Things (IoT) applications requires the ability to extract insights from massive amounts of data streams observed in real-time. Such data is collected from multiple input sources including surveillance cameras, wearable devices, etc. Due to limited computational capability of devices collecting such data, the conventional approach of performing analytics is to...

Recent literature suggests that the Internet of Things (IoT) scales much better in an Information-Centric Networking (ICN) model instead of the current host-centric Internet Protocol (IP) model. In particular, the Named Data Networking (NDN) project (one of the ICN architecture flavors) offers features exploitable by IoT applications, such as stateful forwarding, innetwork caching, and built-in...
متن کاملDesign and evaluation of two distributed methods for sensors placement in Wireless Sensor Networks
Adequate coverage is one of the main problems for distributed wireless sensor networks and The effectiveness of that highly depends on the sensor deployment scheme. Given a finite number of sensors, optimizing the sensor deployment will provide sufficient sensor coverage and save power of sensors for movement to target location to adequate coverage. In this paper, we apply fuzzy logic system to...
